Default ipod volume

I am running a ipod in my dsx310. I read some where about what the volume should be set at on the ipod and cant find the article. What is everyone setting the ipod volume at? I am not sure if it really matters or not.

The iPod volume should be turned all the way up and EQ on the iPod turned off.

Default Ipod volume

This is a good question...
It is funny though. When i hook my ipod up to my 998, I have no adjustability on the ipod. I leave the sound flat, but the ipod volume will not adjust. This is hooked up on the rear usb, not Bluetooth.

I set my volume limit on the iPod at about 3/4 as to not get distortion from the iPod. I have been trying different settings on the equalized to see if any difference running through the new radio. Maybe just hoping for a little improvement.
