Im really pleased with how those kappas sound with the pn4.1000. Thanks
There is a pic of the adapters in the BT RG kit. Here's the installation instructions.

Ok thanks! I looked at the rings and directions. I don't see how the rings are going to make the grilles fit thou. I would think that adding the extra thickness of the adapters would make it a tighter fit.

Has anyone used these with the Kappa's and had any luck?

The rings are thicker on one side than the other, they angle the speaker towards the driver and give just a tad bit more clearance.

I've also notice that the hogtune grills snap into place much better than the stock grills (I've been experimenting with grill cloth and my 1st attempt was with the stock grills).

I've sanded and rounded the tabs a tad on the stock grills and that seems to help also. I'll try and take a pic tonight once I get home.

Awesome!! I just wanted to make sure i wasn't going to waste $$ if they still wouldn't snap in. I was worried about how close the lower tab is to the speakers. I didn't want to ruin the speakers.

So with the adapter plates its angles and moves it away? I will order the bt adapters w/ HT grilles if so.

Also on the BT355 LL do I need to adjust the output gain? With DMM?

Thanks JP

I used the screws that came with the Kappa's. Thanks thou.

But by looking at that pic you can see how close the tab is to the speaker. I'm worried that by putting a speaker adapter in the equation that it's only gonna get closer. I'm gonna take Gannicus word for it and get em if it helps.

Hahaa if I would have know I was gonna drop another $100 for grilles and adapters I could have just bought the Arc moto 602s lol

I couldn't tell how close the tab was to the surround in that pic. Anyhow you don't want anything coming in contact with the speaker.

Ok.

Yeah the plastic tab for the grill is actually touching the foam ring on mine.

Does anyone have the part number(s) for the grills and adaptors for the 15 RGS? I've looked online but cannot find them separately from the speaker kits. Thanks in advanced.

I called biketronics direct. I ordered the adapters and grilles. $96 shipped to my door. In all honesty thou the adapters make the speakers closer to the grilles. So it makes the clearance worse. If I were to do it again I would have just got the grilles. That made all the difference I needed. My 2c. The grilles are hogtune.
