Trying to decide between the KRC's you are about to install and the BK Pros for my next fairing test. Will be interested to hear your thoughts. I'm current running the 602's bridged off a B54. Sounds really good with a good thump, but I have to think there is better sound quality out there at that same volume. Has anyone tried both already?

Have never had the BT Pros on my sled but will say that once u put the KRCs in your fairing, u won't take them out. It's one of the best "front stage" speakers available due to the SQ. Then build around that SQ and u will be a very happy camper.

All depends what you are looking for. I'd say to an extent they are comparable. The Focal's have clearer and pristine SQ, the Pro's I'd put up there as well. I think the Pros have a warmer sound to them, but bass thumping, but warm. The Focals have a punchier mass....more like a solid mid bass. If you search for some versus threads across the internet you'll find lots of comparisons for HAT Legatia (what the Pros are based on) and Focal KRC's.
Having said that a set of Hertz SPL SV 165's with Hertz ST25's will play twice as loud with much less warmth and not as detailed sound quality. But loud as hell.
So like I said it's all with regard to what you are looking for.
Well I'm looking for some rehabilitation but my enablers are jamming me up!!!!!!!!!!
Did not purchase anything audio for like 3 weeks then one of my enablers sent me a link for a tour pack extension that affords me more room for road trip survival gear thus enables me to put more audio in my bags!!!!!! WTF!!!!!
Pretty cool set up, for only 40 bucks!!! The unicorn is on the loose!!!!!!

I have a similar pack, but it goes on my ultra tour pac. We can never have enough room, that's why I'm reluctant to do lids.
See what I mean!!!!! Steaks is an enabler of the worst kind!!!!
Totally found myself drewling looking at that pic!!! Oh, the fun that could be found with that set up. That is awesome Brotha. We rode Estes and RMNF last summer and with that being in your back yard, your sled is absolutely perfect!!!!

It's true, I've seen your bags Tailwind! You can fit at least a set of 8's in there.
Hey, you have all that extra room with the Tour Pak bag AND you saved so much money on buying the bag versus getting a chopped bottom... yeah, you should get some 8's for sure!
