Well got my 600.4 in yesterday but the mount didn't come so I'm faced with a dilemma... mount the 600.4 on the yaffe mount for now then tear it down Sunday or Monday and replace it with the Arc mount or wait and do it all Sunday/Monday.
Just to throw some twists, weather is kick *** today (my first day off from the new job that's not a weekend) and Saturday and I have a CVMA event on Saturday to go to (always love showing off to my CVMA brothers ), Sunday it's going to rain cats and dogs.
One more thing, jacked up my back. Damn dog sleeps with us and was a bed hog and I guess I went all cirque du soleil so I don't know how long I can actually stand to ride, going to get a rub down this am and see if that helps (wife is a fail, she lasts about 2 minutes giving me a message and GIVES me the money to go to the spa ).
Can you guys hear your lid speakers on the highway or are they just for parking lot fun?
I could hear Tailwinds but I was behind him
I think the consensus is you loose the lids or are minimal at highway speeds.
You loose all your bass at highway speeds also, that's why it's important to get good clean, clear, and loud front stage imo.
I was very impressed with Tailwinds Focal KRC's (we faded the fronts in and out during testing) and the PC 165's were my prefered fronts that I've personally run so far. I just think those damn frenchies figured out the secret to really good sound.

Thanks. Yea, he calls me an enabler, lol, he just turned me on to a killer deal on a pair of Focal 165's! Can't wait to get them.

INSTALL THE AMP AND KRCs ASAP!!!!!! Use zip ties and speed tape if u have too!!!!
As for the back, there is a brothel ring that got busted here in H-Town yesterday so with about 60 chicks looking for work I'm sure there are some rubbing deals to be had. Just sayin!!!!
Actually that drivers seat back rest u got will be a completely different riding experience for you so I bet u will get plenty of good riding in.

Never been to Durango on the sled. My dragon wants to ride the dragon and hang out in that area for a few days so I think that's the next long haul trip on the books. San Juan loop has been added. Thanks for the info!!!!!
Durango is sweet, go there for the four corners rally. Gunnison Vally is awesome also, black cannon is a great road too! Colorado is a great place to ride but the riding season in the mountains is short, especially if your looking to camp over night. Nights get cold before June and after August. Lucky there are great day trips too.

We're leaving for the Dragon on May 12th. Decided to pass on Thunder Beach this year. My goal is to get up and ride these places y'all are talking about. Plan to take a 3wk vacation when we head up for that.
