Just installed two pairs of infinity kappa 62.11i speakers on my 98 classic In fairing and lowers with SS pn4.1000d amp the sound is awesome! I really want to do the same on my 99 road glide but no one has the kappas in stock. I have the SS amp installed and want to get speakers. Do I wait for the kappas to be available or was thinking jbl gto628 or infinity reference 6032cf. I know there are many other options money is not an issue but want to keep lower budget and prefer 2ohm speakers.
Neither the GTO's or the Reference will sound as good and the majority of quality speakers Hertz, Focal, Image Dynamics, HAT, JL Audio, etc. are all 4ohm speakers for a reason.
I would get the best speakers you can afford. That amp has enough power to power any of them.
2ohm is personal preference but I am will to use 4ohm also just not sure as to what I would run as I am really happy with the kappas. Riding season is almost here and want to get the glide buttoned up lol.
