Default advice wanted

Just finished install on 2011 cvo ultra. Sony head unit, BT 4180 and 4 speakers. Got to tidy up wires and zip tie. Looking at this mess (CB module and xm module) just doesn't seem like it's all going to fit back in. I unplugged both and removed. System seems to still operate without issue. Any concerns here before I put fairing back on ? Or does something need to be back on. New Sony head unit has Sirius xm I would just need a different cord the patch bikes xm antenna to sony unit remote ? Bikes gps doesn't have anything to do with CB module? Looking to finish the reassemble 2moro. Any advice is welcomed, so far job has gone pretty good. Would like to minimize the # of times I have to pull the fairing

Not sure about the XM antenna with the Sony HU. CB and GPS have nothing to do with each other, you will not be able to use your headset outlets anymore, if that matters at all. Welcome to the madness. Keep us posted and don't be afraid to ask questions. Lots of great guys around here to help out. XM antenna question and more advise to follow as others read this.

Well, the cb module and xm module would not fit back in so just left them out and closed it back up. Guess my real question here is; If Ive ran the new head unit and new speaker wires to all 4 speakers off the BT amp there is nothing at all being used on the large 35 pin connector as far as the radio is concerned. This harness has the cb harness as well as the xm harness tied into it. Fitting everything back under the fairing was tight but do able. If I need to go back in for any issues down the road I would like to remove the large harness but am concerned if there is something else feeding up that harness that makes it necessary to be there. This removal would free up a lot of space under fairing and make the install look clean and neat.

Overall feedback from the install, Sony mex70bt head unit with hawg wired kit very easy install and looks great in dash. BT 4180 amp, another well put together kit with everything needed and good instructions. My only complaint with the amp is the speaker, power and ground inputs on amp are too small to accommodate decent sized wire. If I add lowers down the road there is no way there is space for another set of wires without building a splice. Speakers Titan II's in the front, sound is clear and sharp / Motos in the rears with a set of Junes pods. Have read that the stock grills on the motos don't fit and to use the cvo grills ? The cvo grills will not work on the motos due to the directional tweeter being raised above the flush of the speaker. Stock Moto grills snapped right on. Not sure how Ill ever be able to release them if I need to pull a speaker though ? Junes pods on the rear look very nice and professional looking, would swear there a stock item. System really rocks and is a winner in my book.
