Okay guys i have an Arc mini 125 2 channel amp that i am not using could i put 1 sub in the bag and run with that setup? Would that be sufficient for lots of bass?
Schatz, ur not gonna like the sub set up on ur sled unless u go all in like Kesean. Get an NVX MVP A4 and push some ARC Moto 692s inside the bags. U will be very pleased.
I tinkered with done half **** sub installs and could not uninstall them fast enough.
Now its making sense to me just a quick question would the arc mini i have to run 2 of the ARC moto 692s be enough power??
No it wouldn't. You need more juice....
....but I think one good mid bass 8 with that amp bridged will give you a really good warm sound and that thumps.
I guess it all depends on your budget, what sound you want, how crazy you want to get, etc. If budget is tight and you already have the mini amp and think a bit more bass will complete the sound then get a mid bass. If you have the flow and want to go all out the two 692's with that mini amp bridged is pretty bad ***.
I was wondering about the bass thing too.I was told that you would loose a lot of base when riding. You will only hear it while stopped .Second part of the question is i currently have focal 5x7 in my rear lids, does anyone think going to 6x9 would make a difference .

IMO a set of arc moto 692s should do it. Or check out Tailwinds article on the Pioneer 6900s...sounds like they could be the ticket as well...both 6x9s
In my experience bass sounds great as long as you aren't moving. The second you take off and the sound of your pipes ring out and the wind starts to blow.. say bye to your bass! You just won't hear it. I mean obviously sitting at a bike rally next to your sled and having all that expensive equipment singing for ya will always give you that "Puff out your chest" moment.. but for me.. Id much rather hear all the speakers I bought when I'm riding because thats what I do the most. Don't get me wrong.. I have NOTHING against guys trying to get more base on their sleds.. I think it sounds great when done right. So if you are gonna do it.. you def came to the right place.. these guys all really know their stuff!
