So I purchased the BT 4 channel and 7.1 fairing speakers, 6.65 lower fairing speakers and 5.7 for the speaker lids; now i'm thinking of a pair of 6x9s for inside the bags with a second amp for the bag; any thoughts

All I can say is holly crap. I installed the biketronics 7.1s in the fairing and 5x7s in the lids; flashed the head unit and adjusted the line leveler to my liking and my system is almost too loud. Oh and I still have the 6x5s to install in the lowers and 2 6x9s to place inside the saddlebags. I am super satisfied with biketronics. I also can't say enough about the outstanding technical service that Mike from Biketronics provides. 4 stars. I am a happy caper. (icing on top, I sold my J&M amp and speakers for a nice price on ebay)
