Hertz HCX waterproof?

Hertz HCX waterproof?
Might try some other speakers...How important is having waterproof speakers? Eyeballing the Hertz HCX but does not appear to be waterproof, yet lots of people are using them and are very happy. Opinions?

Using a grill cloth with a waterproof treatment is all it takes. Lots of ways to do it. I bought some stinger cloth and sprayed with some UV water resistant coating.

Biketronics 6x9's (HAT's) are waterproof, Bill at BT ran a garden hose on em with no problemo's..If you go to Hybrid Audio Technologies web site and click on the various speaker lines some of them are in aqurium's with water running on them!! Great sounding speaker also!!
