Default Interesting way to setup Rushmore bikes

Was at the local audio shop yesterday (they do some bikes) and was talking to him about some setups they've done.

I had told them about the Line Levelers before but they didn't have luck on a recent build so they went with a JL Fix and were very pleased with the results.

I'm trying to get with the owner and see for myself.

More options though

There are some that are much smaller and essentially will fit on the vertical portion of the BT speaker bracket on each side of the amp, replacing the LL.

Oh he told me about all sorts of ways to fit stuff in my fairing.

He has a TM400x4ad AND a JL Fix in the fairing of a Road Glide.

That's $300+ compared to a $75 solution from a sponsor here. Doesn't the BT LL work just fine if not on the latest firmware?

I have installed the Cleansweep(older version) many times in cars/trucks and had one in my own personal vehicle. Nothing beats it for stock head unit integration. Cleans up the signal, Eq's it flat and bumps up the output.

Never tried one on a bike but same principals apply. I am sure it would have to be an improvement over the other cheap line level converters out there.

Here is a video explaining how they work.

Any idea what would be the most compact one going and best bang for the buck?

That's very interesting. If I understand the video this would give the ability to recalibrate after any future updates. Watching.

I stopped by again tonight at the local audio shop, the Fix86 would work but if you want to tune it you have to buy the TwK also...

The Fix will work alone but it would basically only kill the eq curve (you could calibrate it every time you do an update if you wanted to) but no tuning of the EQ unless you get the KwX (another $400).

I could fit both of these and an amp in my fairing though.

Looked at the Fosgate 3.sixty.3 also, if I can figure out how to fit it in the fairing, I'll go that route. True DSP and EQ.

There is also an Audio Control DQ-61 which is cheaper and smaller but I don't know if it's the same quality or capabilities of the Fosgate.

More research is needed
