Bike is a 13 road glide custom.
I got the bt2180 amp, mounting bracket and retro radio kit. I have arc audio 602 motor speakers and matching brackets on order from phat. Gonna order the Sony mex-70bt head unit soon.
Just gonna run the two speakers in the fairing only.
Having never played with this audio stuff before or had the fairing off on my bike, I assumed I wouldn't need to buy anything else. I thought the speakers would come with wire and everything else I bought or am buying should be plug and play with what comes in the box.
Am I missing anything? Lots of talk here about rca cables and all sorts of stuff.

Thanks
IF new the BT 2180 should come with all connections needed. I would advise getting some 10g IIRC ground to go to battery than run to the faring mounting screw for ground and replace the RCA's with a set of your choosing. Speaker wire I believe is also included but if not any decent 16g should work. Stinger 4000 are popular budget cables. Don't but over 1 meter length.
Is sound dampening stuff worthwhile or not? Is it stuck inside the fairing or around the speaker. Arc reckons no need to put it around the 602 speakers.
+1 on a better ground. Best bet is to run both power and ground to battery. BT recommends in the fairing and only gives enough wire length to do that, but I recently had to re-ground on an install last week after using the recommended spot. Granted, after a dozen BT amp installs this was the first issue, but best to avoid potential problems altogether.
