Just max your card out now, it's gonna happen eventually once you get goin with this stuff. Almost like crack, you get a taste and then you just want more lol.

Honestly, take the advice of these guys. They definitely helped me. Pick a realistic budget and go from there.

Been there and done that more than once!

I definitely will. The lids suggestion on page 1 is worth it's weight in gold because it'll save me a ton right out of the gate.

I'm with "them." Don't even bother with a sub. You'll be throwing money away, and you'll never hear it anyway. I once had a WoofPak (look at Hell's Foundry website.) It was a JL Audio so you'd think it would be a good one. Well, it was, and sounded great --- at a standstill & below 25 or 30, but turns out it was for showin' rather than goin'. Would've been great for bike night, but I couldn't even feel any thumping once I got over 40 or 45. I ended up selling it to somebody who just wanted to go to bike night & show off his stereo & colored lights. Don't plan on getting much bass out of ANYTHING if you plan to ride the bike. I found out the $$$ hard way.

Excellent advice given by all and one thing I will throw in, find a bike night somewhere around and listen to other riders set up and ask a million questions. That is what I did with my latest set up and trust me and all others on here when they say take your time. I dumped a lot of coin on many different set ups that I could have paid my bike off.
