this spring I put in a gerwin vega 4 channel amp with kappa front speakers and kickers in the rear. all has been good till the other day I was on a ride and all of a sudden I lost about 1/3 of my volume, not a big deal but just wondering if anyone has any idea what might have happened. this is on my 02 ultra with the stock stereo and my phone or a ipod for tunes.

If it happens again swap sources and see if it happens. Also make sure the avc is off if they had that option then. I would also double check your phone or iPod. Internal amp on stock stereo may be failing or the aux jack might also have a poor connection

this mght sound too obvious, but check volume on ur input device too
