I have a 1997 Ultra that I just replaced the stock system with a sony h.u. and biketronics 7.1S and the biketronics pods with the 2180 amp. When I go to start the bike ,even with the volume down I get a sound from the speakers almost like feedback for a lack of a better word. Just wondering if this is a ground issue or what should I look for in my installation that I did wrong. It only happens when I start the bike. Thanks in advance. Peace Don

Ground issue. Where are you grounded? Must are saying ground back to the battery.

followed the instructions and grounded on the triple tree. Will change that and report back

Just run something from battery to amp externally to save time, if it works then run it under.
