Default Amp ground

Could somebody tell me what is best to run my ground from my amp all the way to the battery or run a ground to the chassis any help would greatly be appreciated

All the way to the battery or to the ground post on the frame right in front of the battery. Those are the Best options.

Those are your only options in my opinion. Trying to skimp on electrical connections is a waste of time and energy. Do it right the first time and ride worry free.

SBateso8 LMAO I started to message you and didn't want to bother you but I guess I should have anyway LOL thank you sir I knew you would know the answer all right well one more question I am planning on using the speaker wires that are originally run on the bike will they be okay with that Soundstream PN 4. 1000 running them all the way to the speaker pods I plan on reusing the same speaker wires that the bike came with unless you think I should change them thank you sir you're awesome I appreciate your your help on everything

Harley5563 when I installed that same amp I went ahead and pulled new speaker wire to the rear pods just to be safe. I know this is not absolutely necessary but I didn't want to take the chance of some connection somewhere under the tank or seat causing me problems.

Aw shoot, lets be honest. I wasn't smart enough to find out which pins on that connector went to the rear pods...

Won't be a problem. Lotsa guys run a heavier wire since the tank is off anyway to run power and ground for the amp but the stock wiring is ok.

okay thank you sir that's why I was asking because I have the tank in the seat and everything off of it so I figured I would ask before I started covering everything up hopefully tonight I'm going to start my install and I just wanted to make sure I had all the ducks in a row man I appreciate your help
