Rockford Fosgate Question
Has anyone changed stock speakers out with the Rockford Fosgate TM65 speakers? Also did you add the TM400X-ad amp on? How is the sound after install compared to stock, both stand still and going down the road @ 75 MPH? I have been told by a Harley Mech that his dealership was pushing these over the hog tunes due to some issues that are well documented by other manufactories. They will be going on a 2016 Street Glide Special with the 6.5 infotainments center.

I haven't ran the set up you're referring to but you need to see what ohm the RF speakers are and also check the ohm rating on the amp. There is better equipment out there in reference to speakers. That RF amp is a good one from I have heard and maybe too much for those speakers.

I have the 2 channel version of that amp, TM400x2AD, and from my experience it sounds good. I've been running Moto 602's off of it, loud and clear after some messing around with the crossover.

Dollar for dollar in my opinion you can do better than those speakers... Rockford has a good name.. but there are plenty of other speakers out there that will not only sound better but are very comparable in price. I also agree with Chilimac about making sure the ohms match up.
