Here's a little 4 speaker system I helped a buddy with the other day with all drop in speakers.
Stock 6.5 HU
Bt355 line leveler
4 PRV 6MB250NDY
1 Set of DD T2 tweeters (in fairing behind stock grills)
1 Set TXO crossovers
1 Diamond 4v2

Let's give this a try. Wish I could get it out of the garage, but the weather is utter crap today and for the next week.
It actually sounds pretty good in the garage. Then I listened to the video with a set of Beats headphones. Didn't sound so good. Then I used a pair of Apple ear buds, really didn't sound to good. I used an old digital camera to record the video. When I set it on the kayak I think it was just a little to close to the lid speakers.
Anyway, it's a work in progress. More tuning to come.
