Hi Guys...Front Speaks Kappa 2 ohm...rear kicker 67s 4 ohm....amp shows 140w x 4 at 4 ohm and 250w x 4 at 2 ohm.....Are These Numbers Correct 140 x4 =560 sqrt 23.66 for rear kicker and 250 x 2=500 sqrt 22.36 for front Kappa...I Am Thinking Something Is Not Right And Need To Verify....Also When Setting Gains This Way, Do I Use + And - On One Channel Or + On Right Channel And - On Left Channel...Thank You ..Much Appreciated
There's a nice guide to use in the sticky on top of this forum, I believe the guide is on the second to last page and will give you all your numbers. Use + and - of one channel.
The Kappa 62.11i max wattage is 225 and rms is 90 watts.
I would not set the amp to max specs as the Kappas will not take the power for to long.
To be on the safe side I would suggest no more than 20vac which is 200watts for the Kappas and no more than 24 vac which is 150 watts for the kickers.
Thank You Ndfastln ..That Is Exactly What I Am Going To Do...Dropping From 140 To 130 And 237 To 227....Came Up With 22.80 And 21.30....Really Just Wnted To Make Sure I Was Running The Formula Correctly Knowing I Need to Trear A 4 Channel Amp As 2 Amps...Thank You Sir Just Hope My Cd-r I Burned With Test Tone Works...Works In My Laptop But Not Recognized In My Home Theater Cd Player Or Any Of My Boom Boxes..And With Speaks Disconnected Wont Know If It Is Working Unless I Can Tell By Voltage Or It Just Kicks Back Out...We Will See...Once I Rip It All Apart Again...To Try To Get My FM Back...Can NOT Live Without Fm.....If I Ha To Do It All Over Again...Would Have Just Spent The Extra Money And Got The Bt 4180....So If I Can't Gain FM Back.....After Twisting Wires All The Way Back Sheilding Them With Copper Tape And Adding Ferites Cores Looped...I Will Be Ripping This Amp Out So Fast...Plus I Dont Like The Current Voltage Draw Either...Just Want To Ride When I Can...And Not Have To Mess With This Stuff....Thank You Sir
