Since I am installing the BT brackets I figured that I needed to put sound deader on the inside of the fairing. I ordered 10 sq ft. (I know way more than I need but smallest packaging available on amazon). I read about the cheaper alternatives but decided on second skin damplifier pro. I have never worked with the stuff so any helpful hints from the experienced would be appreciated.
I have been thinking of adding some of the same material to my inner fairing. I am getting a lot of vibration from my tunes. Also getting the same from my lowers too. I am not blasting the tunes, just 1/4 to almost half up on the volume bars. Running a BT2180 and corresponding BT 7.1's in the fairing and 6.5's in the lowers.

I had the same vibrations on the 2015 Ultra fairing and used the second skin damplifier (non pro) which worked very well. The Pro version is twice as thick and twice as heavy. I would like to hear how Springerfan's install of the pro version is going!

I have ordered it but have not received it. My plan is for a winter project. The space is already tight and I was not aware of the thickness of the pro version just going by what others recommended. I got it on Amazon so hopefully I can return it.
The damplifier pro showed up today but this stuff is pretty thin and not what I expected. It is heavy and very stiff so installing it is going to be a bitch. Not sure how to tell if it is really the pro stuff. It is one sq ft sheets black and embossed with the second skin logo. Ten sheets weighs about 5 lbs. Hoping there is enough to do the bags as well but I doubt it.
