Default RF Touring Kit - installed

Finally got around to doing the install of the Rockford Fosgate HD14-TKIT (TM400X4AD and TM65's).

The full kit makes the install a snap. No splicing at all. Truly plug and play.

Review: one word - "Rockin'".

Well done RF - and your installation video is dead on the money.

Zero bass, ear bleeding midrange. LAF. Not happy but I'm going to try a couple more things before I give up. I may have too high expectations as I'm a car audio buff. Don't get me wrong, everything fit and plugged up like it was factory. I had the HU reflashed and literally there is no bass/mid bass below 250 Hz or so. It's got to be an EQ issue. Going to flash it back to stock, try the PAC line leveler (BT355) and see what that does for me. The right answer is a DSP but I can't find a tunable one that is small enough to fit in the fairing of my road glide. I'll solve it :-). I don't for a second believe any single bit is a Rockford Fosgate issue. I'm impressed with the kit.

I would suggest to flash the head unit back to stock 4 channel and no amp set up. Instead of using the Pac sni35 LOC use the Biketronics BT 355 Line levler to flatten the output signal of the head unit.

They could be. I've got a couple of different sets that I can try "next time I'm in there." It may rain on Saturday - and if it does, and since the Mrs. and kid will be gone all day, I just may take the time to mess with it.

I'm actually expecting a BT355 to show up from BT today or tomorrow. I'm hoping my local RF dealer has an input plug with RCA's on it or I'll have to order one. And the stock flash is 2 channel, no amp on my FLTRXS.
