Got my Hogtunes speaker lids from Factory Match for my 2014 Ultra limited, I installed Pioneer 6900pro in the lids. I am having a problem with magnet hitting the edge of the saddlebag when I try to close the lid. Also the lids are very hard to close and lock, I have to push down hard on the lids in order to close and lock. Does anyone has a solution? what I am doing wrong here?
It's a good thing that the lids are hard to close, as that is the result of brand new fluffy weather stripping. As long as the weather stripping is properly installed in the associated channel, its all good. In six months u will be wishing u had fluffy new weather stripping.
As for the Pioneer Pro, it's a massive magnet thus the trade off for their performance is that they will rub just a tiny but. Just provide a little assisted upward lift when opening and closing and u will get the 1/32 u need to clear the lip.
Hey guys does this still happening with the biketronics 6x9 or Moto 692's? Also is it a problem with either of those speakers with the CVO lids? Thanks in advance fellas Im trying to put my rear system together.

Can you add a couple of washers between the speaker and the lid to angle the speaker slightly? Just a thought.

That would work but for me the bigger issue is the seal so that H2O does not get in the bag. Did not want to jack w adding weather strip to the side that would need to be shimmed.
It's really not that big of a deal. Sometimes it barely rubs, sometimes it doesn't.

I did a set of Hogtunes lids with 692 in a customer bike earlier this year, magnet hit as well. As noted, a little upward lift and it'll clear fine. He had a problem with how tight the lids closed, but now they operate like normal a few months later.

Will those 692's fit in the cvo and the boom lids with the vtwin adapters? By boom I mean the Harley ones with the grills on the corner of the bag. And by CVO I mean the ones with the grills centered
