^^^^ He is not wrong at all. That's why I said to decide what you want from your setup first before picking components. I see guys all the time thinking they got the most awesome stuff with out truly knowing what they want and then repeatedly spend more money to chase the unicorn
Boy oh boy...ain't that the truth!
Mach- if you hear Bates setup...you in trouble! Lol
I tried building my system around the 7.1s...don't have them any longer. Just sayin
Bagger, Can I ask why you couldn't build your system around the 7.1's?
I'm not saying I couldnt. I actually did.
I ran 7.1 pros up front.
Hertz 690 hcx in the lids
Moto 692s in the bags with a set of horns.
This setup sounded badass...but I wanted more.
The 7.1 pros were never loud enough and personally they just sounded ok. But i wanted more in my face...
So...i walked off the edge. Into Haze and Gann land. Lmao

I think I've heard of that land. Isn't it the land where the unicorns run wild and free? Where the trees grow speakers wires and RCA cables instead of leaves. Where the houses are made of previously tested amplifiers, speakers and cross overs. I've heard the entire kingdom is powered by 12 volt batteries. The legends tell of a time when all of its systems were ran by an evil head unit that had been cursed by a dark Lord named Harley. Every time a potion was conjured to combat the dark Lord's evil curse on the head units his sorcerers would enchant a new .bin file to keep the land oppressed. Fortunate knights from the lands, of Sony, Kenwood and Alpine came to set them all free. Now the land is ever changing but eternally better because of its freedom. Only bad thing I've ever heard about that land since is in some of its valleys you have bad FM reception. Still I think I wanna go there with you someday... LOL
