Wow that's a pretty impressive head unit. Thanks for the links guys. I'd be hard pressed however to justify that unit in my scoot though. Now, if someone comes up with a quick detachable setup that could easily move that unit from one vehicle to another.....that's something I could make room for!
The way Mike at BT explained it, it's an open system so he can program in anything provided Alpine works with him.
He wants to be able to use the hand controls to zoom in and out of the map, that's the only thing you can't do right now.
The system comes with a new interface controller, the old ones that are in the retro kits are different and won't work with the new kit.
It's pretty impressive what he's done and I can't wait to see this thing in action.
