Now there is a catch to that statement. I'm currently not running those as Haze, Gan and myself have been testing the shix out of some other fairing stuff but until that shix has been run thru the ringer, is on the Area 51 list. I have about 20 hours on them and they blow away the MLK and far cheaper. Stand by.

I have plenty of time to wait. Finances just took an unexpected hit yesterday so I'm glad you passed on that little tidbit.

Have you thought about adding a second amp?
maybe a NVX just to run the 602 in the tour pak
save the 4180 to run the 6x9 and the Fairing speaks

I realize the NVX is pretty small but I'm concerned about where to mount it and still be able to easily remove my tour pak in the summer. I don't want to use tourpak/bags if I don't have to since I currently don't have any wires going into the bags and use the storage during the colder weather for my leathers and 3/4 helmet (obviously that would change if I buy the 6x9s).

If I could find a way to fit both amps in the fairing, the setup would definitely work. All I would have to do is "y" the rear RCA outputs from the rear line leveler to the rear channels of the 4180 (or other 4 channel amp) and the NVX.

All good ideas to think about especially since I have read that the 602s really like power and a dedicated amp would help with that.

I had a 4180 and 2 NVXs in the fairing at one time. Just need the pod eliminator brackets.

I was planning on going that route anyway so that is good to know. You don't by chance have a picture of that setup still do you?

The Mille's get brighter in the TP pods at speed as with any other speaker in that location. That little tweet really come to life, in a good way. What I also like it the SQ and clarity and how well they keep up with the fairing speakers in loudness. A mid range driver might even be a better choice as long as the fairing covers the high FQ's well. The challenge would be trying to find a pair that would fit.

That is a busy setup. So.... What if I start with two NVXs bridged each one driving a pair of speakers? I'm thinking - not too much cash outlay at the start and can always add another amp if I add more speakers later.

You really want to choose speakers first then find a amp(s) that will complement the the speakers. Wait and see what T and team comes up with. I'm sure there not only testing speakers but speaker / amp combos along with other equipment.
