I had mine set at 175 watts running to a set JL M770's, the amp was capable of even more clean power. Impressive little amp, especially for the price.

I've been waiting for my local dealer to offer me a deal on the MX500/4. I like those JL amps a lot.

That's what the specs say but see the attachment as to what this sneaky little bastard can actually do.

Absolutely. If u get a JM amp tray the safe sandbox to play in is 10.75 x 6.5 x 2.

If ur setting them on the stock tray u might still be ok because these are only 8.8 inches long.
