Tailwind, may be I'm overthinking this, but in the way you have it setup I'm concern with the heat trapped inside those foams and eventually damaging the driver.
I'm going to play with some configurations of the Rings and see what works best for me.
Like I said, just don't use them if u have a concern. And if these foam rings scare u, u better get the polyfill u have been using out in the non flammable metal dumpster ASAP.

Worst case scenario is that u try it and have to buy a JM amp tray.
