I did my stereo last year and thought it sounded pretty awesome. But I keep reading more all about how much better it sounds with being tuned properly so maybe you guys can give me some starting points.
Amp is at 90 hertz and gain is half way. and set to HPf I believe I piced the amp up used and didn't chance anything as it was used on the same speakers. The head unit I basically set the equalizer to where it sounded good.
Set up is
Kenwood x898 HU
Jl Xd 400/4 Bridged
Hertz HSK165xl

That Kenwood only has your standard bass, mid, treble for adjustment. I would run the amp full pass, use head unit xover, set to 70hz 18db, and see if you have tad bit more in amp. The xl's are fairly efficient but need good power to really shine. Run the tweeter on the -2 db setting on xover network.
