What s the difference between the Polk DB and mm polk
The DB's handle less power and are 4 ohm speakers.
The MM's are Polk's flagship speakers. They are 2.7 ohms handle way more power and sound 10x better than the DB's!!

Hertz wins hands down. Not a fair comparison. Hertz are on a different level than Polk and Pioneer. You can spend $1,300 for a set of Hertz speakers.

The MLK1650.3 components will run you around $1300, MPX165.3 coaxials run somewhere around $300, and the ECX coaxials I have no clue, but they are lower than the MPX.
All depends on how much you are willing to pay to play.
I'm guessing you are looking at for a loud clear 4 speaker setup with amp around $700 (fairing and tour pak, correct me if any of this is wrong). To put a 6.5" speaker in the stock tour pak you'll need spacers to allow a 6.5" fit. And this is a 16 ultra, so you'll need a breakout harness and BT355s so that'll leave you about $500 to work with. Still very doable.
You can get a set of the Alpine SPR 60 for the tour pack pods. They will drop right in and no need for the spacers. I currently have them running in my Ultra and they are doing fine. Tomorrow though, they will be coming out and something new going in.
