Made by the same company but the diamond amps use higher grade heat sink to make the amp more efficient.

Essentially the same amp, same parent company, but the diamond will have a little better internals as far as what I've been reading. I've had both and couldn't tell the difference in sound while going down the road.

That's because diamond is a protected line and cerwin vega is a whole sale line. The heat sink being better on the diamonds generally allow them to be more efficient which equates to better sound quality and longevity of amp life.

Also I forgot to mention the diamond carries a 2 year warranty and the vega a 1year...that's a big part of the price also
