People here can help, but in the meantime, I think Bagger Nation has a series of videos on YouTube where they install that amp.

I saw them but when it comes to actually doing the speakers he just says solder and connect. Kinda of blows right by the entire process. Thanks

There used to be a sticky on this site that went through the whole installation for that exact set-up, it was foolproof, believe me I know!

I've been doing a lot of reading on the forums lately about audio as I'll be doing mine as soon as all the parts are in.

basically your remote wire taps into your cigarette lighter (or any power wire that turns on with ignition). Telling when the amp to turn on/off

the speaker wires coming from the head unit go into the input of the amp (opposite side of power and ground on the amp) and your outgoing will go to the new speakers.

should set the amp to high pass, 80hz, and the gain you'll have to adjust by ear. I believe 3/4 volume and gain will go louder until it starts getting unclear.

this is what I gather of everything. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

good luck!

Speaker wiring diagram.

Speaker output from Radio wiring:
Right rear + is Green and is pin # 1 on the 35 pin connector
Right rear - is Light Green/brown and is pin # 24 on the 35 pin connector
Left rear + is Brown and is pin # 2 on the 35 pin connector
Left rear - is White/brown and is pin # 25 on the 35 pin connector

Then of course your front speaker wires are already accessible inside the fairing at the back of the speakers but just in case you need it.

Right Frt + is Grey/Red and is pin # 18 on the 23 pin connector
Right Frt - is Light Green/Black and is pin # 1 on the 23 pin connector
Left Frt + is White/Orange and is pin # 16 on the 23 pin connector
Left Frt - is Light Green/White and is pin # 17 on the 23 pin connector

Pretty simple set up Bonzo -

Your input to the amp will come from the existing speaker wires that are presently connected to the speakers. The PBR comes with a High level input harness and a RCA connection. For your application you will use the HL input harness. Find the wires on the input harness that are consistent with the left and right speakers on your bike.

This is going to be 4 wires. L positive and L negative. Right positive and Right negative.

The speaker plug on the other side of the amp will be configured the same way.
these wires will be connected to your right and left speakers +/-

The next plug on the speaker side will be your REM G B+

You will run a 16 ga wire from the REM to the orange and white wire on the head light harness.
Note* all your speaker wires should be 16 gauge.

You will run an 8 gauge cable from G to the ground side of the battery.
You will run an 8 gauge Cable from B+ to the positive side of the battery.
The 8 gauge positive cable requires a 40-60 amp inline fuse.

Set the Gain **** between the 5 and the 6
Set the crossover to HP (all the way to the right)
Set the FREQ to 80hz. It's the dot between 50 and 125.

Turn on the stereo and let it rip!!
