I had a pair on my sporty years ago. If you can avoid them, save your $$
I would NEVER do it again. Put on some ear buds and stick your ipod in your pocket. Much cheaper and better sound guaranteed.

Don't take this as a dick statement. But this is a dilemma requiring a new RG. Just my opinion.

Had one and loved it, but I'm 69 short and had both knees replaced and both hips so now it's a trike. Just need my music with me

When I traded my Streetglide for a new Heritage I really missed my tunes. After trying several handlebar sets I settled on the J&M MHAS speakers. They were loud enough to hear at speed behind my windshield, and had thumb volume control that made them easy to use. They were in no way as good as my Streetglide stereo, and I eventually put a fairing on my Heritage and now enjoy a real kick *** set of tunes! For what they are, however, they didn't sound bad...good luck in your search!

Times 2: I am on my 3rd Harley in 6 years. I install these on my 2005 RK, moved them to my 2011 Heritage and now on my 2011 RK. Clear sound and plenty of it, no distortion, never skipped a beat still running them. They are not cheap but will last for years. These are now special order from J&M, last I heard. Worth every penny. J&M MHAS-2008, they come in black or chrome.
