Default Deaf guy needs a hand building a system..

Currently have : Sony MEXT100 hu, Arc Audio 125.4 driving Focal kx2 in the fairing, and HAT 5x7 in the bag lids.

Have on order a set of lowers that I want to put speaker pods in (have a set of Focal 165K co-ax on the shelf, these suffice?).

What I'm curious about, is there a 6 channel amp available that will power all these? With the crossovers and such, pretty tight squeeze behind the fairing, not sure I can fit a second amp?

Second part of the equation, I can't hear the bag speakers much, if at all (tinnitus). So thought about adding pods to the Tour Pak, which would then make more sense to add a second amp. Thinking the Arc 600.4 to run the fairing/lowers, then my current 125.4 to run the lids/TP pods?

Biggest thing is, need volume out the front, as I mentioned earlier, being deaf sucks (and makes stereo's on one's bike spend ).

Thanks in advance !

G.

Don't need a 6 channel amp. All can be done with the two amps you mentioned. In your situation you need pro Audio speakers in the lowers ran in parallel off the Moto 600.4. The Fairing speakers can be ran alone off channels 1&2. (2 ohm speakers) The lowers and the pod speakers can be ran off channels 3&4 in parallel. Take the Arc 125.4 and bridge it to a set of pioneer pro 6x9's. You will need a 5x7 to 6x9 adapter from Biketronics or Vtwin audio.

Also consider installing some quality speakers in your helmet and feel the voice-of-the-theater quality of sound.
I used a set of Koss head phones that I took apart and installed into my helmet.
I have to be careful not to turn the volume up too much as it will, for sure, blow out my eardrums from the incredible volume available.
Best part, it doesn't **** off everyone within a 1/4 mile of my bike with the 8-10 speakers blaring so I can hear it over the exhaust and wind.
Never been happier with my tunes and communication...not mention at a fraction of the cost.

We do sled audio here. No head audio. This isn't the Goldwing chat room

Hey guys thanks for the replies ! Sorry been away for a few days.
Thanks Gannicus, what would you recommend for the PA's in the lowers?

FLTR, sorry no speakers in my helmet ( I wear a half helmet anyways lol).
Besides that, you have zero connection to the outside environment (horns blaring etc). I know, I used to ride with ear buds when I would tour with my Dyna.

Check out my friend Haze's thread. The 5th pic down are the speakers you want. Fresh out of the lab!
