This made me laugh. **** indeed! I don't know why the last picture showed up as a link so I'll try posting the close up. I'm also going to be doing Pete's rushmore shark nose so I'll run patterns for that as well and post if anyone is interested.
EDIT. apparently that last pic doesn't want to show up. you get the idea.
Chris,
If you want to get super ****, I have the Dynamat tape if you want to cover the seams between your panels.
So many responses come to mind when I read this Pete.
1. What seams LOL
2. They make tape??
3. Why you holding out on me?
4. How quickly can I get on amazon and order this tape!
5. "if" I want to get super ****? Hello?
Thanks for the heads up. Order placed and the tape will arrive Thursday!!

Heck I could have dropped it off with the fairing.
Wonder how hard it's going to be tondonthe insides of both bags? That job may be a 12pack or better.
Just an update to the fellas that have PM'd me for the stencils. I just got home with the fabric. I don't think the actual tape is going to mail well so I'm going to cut as many sets as my fabric allows and send them out. We can chat more on email about this but I should have at least 4 sets of templates cut today.
No comment on the inside of bags Pete. That sounds horrible!

That is the neatest looking dynamat install I have seen. Nicely done.
Just a thought, when you send the stencils out ask that they do the same and pass it on to the next member when done with them. Members helping members.

That's the whole idea. I'm about done cutting the first set now. Takes about an hour to cut these damn things. Gonna try to get a few sets done and out by tomorrow.
Set 1 done.

First of all - nice job - secondly, you should make 1-2 patterns and start a sticky to circulate them around to different people - send the pattern to one, then let him send it to the next person, and so on...
Guys,
I just met Chris this past week when he stopped by my place to pick up a few things. We had a chance to sit and chat for 30-45 mins. I can say a few things of this guy after just short time, he is a passionate guy about his Bike. He is willing to help out with the stuff he knows best(motors), and willing to lend a hand and learn on the stuff he doesn't.
This world needs more guys like him, he is taking the better part of his day to make these templates and send out. Why? Because he is a good dude.
Looking forward to turning some wrenches and drinking a few beers with this guy.
