I got two quotes from some local bike Audio stores both of which had the same price of around $800. The one system was Hertz speakers and a Diamond 2ch amp the other was AD Design speakers and a Rockford Fosgate 4ch amp. I have never heard of the AD speakers has any one else ? and which system should I go with.

Need more info. What year and model bike are you upgrading? Going to need model numbers on the parts posted? Have you checked out the local bike audio stores reputation?
2016 Road Glide Special the one shop is Detroit Choppers a very reputable company the other store is fairly new Watts Cycle Audio. I have heard of Hertz Speakers and Rockford Fosgate but AD Designs is new to me.

Here's a resent review of a pair of AD CX62 2100 series speakers.
Hertz MPX165.3 and a 2 channel Diamond amp from Detroit Choppers and AD cs621 speakers with Rockford amp. That's all the details I was given and the $800 includes install and flash if needed.

Reach out to Bagger Audio Lab, he is on here and has done some research with the AD Design products.
Remember, just because a company has a "good" or well known name may not translate to a good final product. Most companies have budget lines and higher quality. Make sure you speak with someone that has put the speakers and amp together ina package previously. Let the shop and guys know what type of music you plan to listen to.
