Ripped this quote from Tailwind, rather than attempt to hijack a thread....
"Take a few minutes today and call BT Mike. He can give u the Readers Digest version of finding ur way back to the default LL settings. HPF exactly on the default markings and 11:30-12:00 on gains is where 99% of the LLs I have seen are positioned."
I bought my line levelers used and have always wondered if they had been "adjusted" - the seller didn't recall. I was hoping to see a pic with arrows that would indicate default settings.
I struggle with the Readers Digest as there are not enough pictures and no centerfold.
Props to Mike at BT who offered to adjust for me for only the shipping costs.
I got a brand new one that has not been adjusted - I'm in Jackson Hole skiing for the week but happy to look when I return next week and let you know what I can see if you still need help.
The adjustable pots on these are micro adjustable/sensitive. Just the simple act of placing the screwdriver bit on the pot is enough to "bump" it. I can't convey how easy it is to blow tweeters if adjusted incorrectly.
The ONLY way it can be properly adjusted is with a DMM. I would highly suggest you send it back to Mike to have it adjusted properly.
