Go to the setting app on your Iphone and clear all connections under "My devices" Basically what you are doing is starting over the "Pairing" process".
Make sure the phone is 1-2 feet from the radio.
Press the "Call" button on the Sony.
Rotate the big **** to the right until it says "Pairing"
The phone will only pair if the little BT symbol is flashing.
At this point your phone should be working to connect. When it connects you should see it on your phone under "My devices"
It should say "Connected"
If it doesn't. repeat the process. Sometimes it takes two or three times before it connects. The screen on the Sony should say "BTA" if successfully connected.
After blowing a fuse my bluetooth went into permanent initialinzing mode. I just loaded the latest SW from HD and it started working again. Not the same problem but may help.

Hope this helps bro!
I can pair it up, but the next time I shut the bike down it won't recognize my phone on start up. I have to delete the Sony connection and re-pair every time.
You must have the IPhone 6 or 6+? I think it's in that model of phone because I was having that same problem off and on until I got the IPhone 7. Now the darn thing connects automatically as soon as I turn the bike on. I think it's the phone John. It should stay connected after you shut down the bike!!
Yeah, a 6+. The thing is that it used to work fine. I had a dyno tune a couple of weeks back and I suspect the guy that did it disconnected power to the radio. I've been having this trouble ever since.
