What are you putting in the tourpack pods? I'd do some combination of all JL amps, would be neat if you could fit an MX500/4 and JL Fix in the fairing with the larger amp tray somehow. I really like the D4 amp it compares very similar to the MX for a bit less but having all JL sounds sexy. The new RD 400/4 is huge but should fit and it's a beast. I have all of these.
Ha!! Talking audio asleep is like drunk dialing after the club.... its never good. Yeah that HDP4 has plenty of juice for those speakers. that combo sounds great.
Now if it were me id do two amps bridged. It would cost less too and you then upgrade to better speakers in the back!
The strategy I was pondering here H is space limits. Most of us are limited due to our dragons possessing ownership of our bag space.
If he can get 2 micros bridged on the amp tray to get a few more watts for the fairing and TP, then add another micro on the side of Radio stack for his lids I agree. Just thinking good sold amps that will fit under the hood that are damn reliable. For me with my space limits and 8 speakers, bridging too much is the fastest way for me to kill available space, but it does indeed cost me watts. Tuff balance, and good strategy discussion.
I Like the idea of MX500/4 bridged to front and MX280/4 bridged to rear. With room for FiX-86 or upcoming equivalent from ARC or Rockford Fosgate. This is where my head starts spinning. Also completely open to ideas for rear pods. I don't see venturing into lowers or lids. I know famous last words, Right?

I would totally agree with that strategy as long as ur not gonna venture into more speaks as ur ability to parallel is gone.
Sorry guys don't mean to jack this post but I see some genius on here who is really love to have a few opinions...as per Alex respected advice...im going to run prv 6.5 in fairing with dd b3 horns...and in rear I was lucky enough to just pick up twisted 8 lids so I'll run a second set of dd b3 horns and prv 8...QUESTION IS I will run the 4 horns off my jl audio 280/4 I'm guessing in a simple set up (50x4) 1 channel to each horn (please correct me if I'm wrong) and a second amp on rear...for the 6.5 and 8 speakers...Alex did recommend the Arc 600.4 which sounds like a great choice and I'd love to have HOWEVER I'm just a ghetto child trying to make it ya dig I have a sound stream pn4.1000 brand new I have nothing to do with...id like all of your advice if that would work good? I know it will not shine like the other but if it saves me 600 that's a massive +++...i appreciate everyone's input 100% in advance...everybody ride safe
