IPOD Interface
no
it is made for apple only
you could always get an ipod nano if you want, about $100 for a 16gb...or any ipod..just make sure is uses flash memory, not a hard drive

Yep, what he said.
If your wanting to play music via Bluetooth try this
https://www.amazon.com/GOgroove-BlueGate-Bluetooth-Technology-Headphones/dp/B00727FE5U/ref=sr_1_1/182-9013801-4257624?ie=UTF8&qid=1371745860&sr=8-1&keywords=bluegate%20bluetooth%20adapter&tag=viglink20376-20
There are several other Bluetooth integration units out there that will come with handlebar controllers. Truthfully I think it would be easier to just replace the headunit with an aftermarket headunit designed for android control and Bluetooth.

You sure can use it. Just google "use iPhone as iPod"
yes, just put it in airplane mode
you can use the podcast app ( I use overcast) and the music player.
used units show up on teh classifieds from time to time, but price check because they are sometimes priced close to a new unit on ebay
