3 plugs came off the stock hk head unit, one looks like it plugs into the hand control unit and then into the Sony. Will that supply power and ground for the head unit as well as hand control? As for the other 2 one is for the cb and the other i have no idea, maybe diagnostics? Do I just cap off these 2 and leave them inside? Up to my elbows in this thing now

thanks man, it's coming along. Got the power wires run for the amp today and I'm going to run the speaker wires for the tour pack tomorrow then get my tank back on. Speakers should arrive early next week. Nothing but rain in the Seattle forecast for the next week so this is a good time for the bike to be down.

This a rushmore bike using boom head unit I am assuming here. Cig lighter best source for turn on..
you absolutely want to leave those horizontal brackets in place. Modify if need be and put them back but DO NOT leave them out of the install process. These brackets help to stabilize the outer edges of the inner and outer fairing so it doesn't flex in 80MPH winds and eventually crack
