Kits, I did not solder the brackets on the tweeters. I made the brackets out of a strip pf brass, bent accordingly then when I got them screwed in and mounted against the grille I dabbed a couple spots of hot glue jut to hold everything where it's supposed to be.

I bought the same type of brass stock to make my brackets, I may end up copying your technique. My speakers are scheduled to arrive tomorrow so I should have some pics up this weekend hopefully.

Done. So much credit goes to Slye for taking the time to look at my DSP calibration file. The system sounded "ok" when I tried to tune it. I knew with the components I was running that this though should sound way way better so I sent my file to Slye and when he returned it with some tweaks, everything changed. It sounded like a completely different setup. Deep, full, clear and loud as hell. I'm in love with the way this has come together. A sincere thanks to everyone that helped me along in this process. Not really my style of music. This is for demo purposes only.

And that's still with a Boom infotainment HU. This is why you don't need to change your head unit.
