What is the difference between a class A/B and a class D amp

Found a lot of cheap class A/B amps and i wondered why

It's all about the efficiency of the Class D amp that is required for sleds. Damn near 90% efficient also means less heat, less sink, smaller, lighter, etc.

Would never put an A/B on a sled.

Search Crutchfield or Sonic for 4 channel class d amps then verify with your forum pals if it will first fit ur fairing, match up well with the speaks it will be paired with, and is good quality.

From there u should hopefully be able to find a CA friendly vendor.
