I must've had the maintenance plan on the other bikes because I don't remember the 1k service check costing over $400
Holy crap I can take the Escalade in and have every fluid and filter change for around $100 (maybe slightly more) but no where close to $400
With that $400 you could have bought a tourqe wrench, fluids, a jack, and a service manual. All they do is drop the fluid and fill it along with checking tourqes (they are going by the same service manual as well) to make sure certain bolts and screws haven't loosened up.
Went to pick up a shirt I had ordered for the wife and they (dealership) had a bike-night event with live band so there were quite a few ppl there. Anyway I told the parts manager that I had changed my mind and he said "you can't change your mind." I hadn't paid any money down, even though I offered to initially, and I hadn't had any of the parts installed on bike or carried out of store and I made sure he knew that. Then he said well there's a 25% re-stock fee.
LMAO I am NOT paying $625 for parts I didn't carry out of store or have installed on bike.
Love this bike but if I ever get rid of it I'm either finding another dealership or giving Indian a closer look. haha
btw, it's more then just this situation. I'm still not happy about much of the circumstance surrounding the sale/trade-in of this bike and my 14 Ultra. Long story short, I had better credit rating this time but ended up with a full point more on APR and this dealership lied to me and told me it was because it was what HDFS offered. Two different ppl at HDFS have said that's a lie. The last person went as far as to detail how the process works, made sense. So I suspect the dealership lied. I won't continue to deal with ppl who are dishonest or don't deal with integrity, fairness, respect.
