Just got back from a ride. One of the guys had a Soundz customs focal system with 12 speakers. Oh my god it sounded sweet! Even at 85 I could hear his over mine and it was clear. Mind you he has a a lot of money in it but it made me realize that I need to pull the trigger! And SOON!
12 speakers? Where all does he have speakers at?
What does he have for amps driving all of this?
I thought soundz focal set ups were only in factory locations, fairing, lowers, lids, TP. Unless he is also counting tweets or tweets on coaxial speakers also.
For the money he hasninto that system you could build a system that would kill his for half the money.

Your bike when done will drown that out. Wouldn't be close.

I have no doubt about that.
I was just curious as to where he has 12 speakers now. I have a feeling with just my bags done it might drown out hay system.

My GF son was riding his fathers bike, he works for Soundz at the shows. He has a Sony HU the level IV in the fairing, Lowers, rear pods and 3 speakers per bag. So 6 in the bags and 6 on the bike. i believe its the Arc Moto 600.4. He wasnt sure what else (if any other amp) but WOW is sounded great!
Thing is, for that kind of sound, or even half that, it would break the bank!
I like good audiophile sound but, my pockets are NOT that deep!
Little bit of over kill for me since I use the hell out of my bags. But eventually I want to do my fairing, lowers and Pods. In that order. First things first need to get the fairing done. I have talked to Bagger Audio and had to see how deep my taxes were going to cut before I pulled the trigger. I just dropped 7k on engine mods/Ohlins suspension and wear and tear repair. Oh and ton of black powdered chrome. So initially my budget is enough for the fairing and a HU. Does anyone know where I can get a HU package? Bagger Audio, we talked via email about DD6.5s and BT30s along with a used amp, is that still available?

I have this set up in the fairing with AD CX62s in the tour pak on my 2016 Limited, running stock HU with BT4180 amp. Have had it for a few weeks now and I think they are finally getting broken in.
Went to my local HD dealer on Saturday to meet a friend. Rolled up with Battery by Metallica playing from a USB stick, volume abt 7. It turned heads left and right. If you go with the DD 6.5 and BT30s, you will be pleased. Haze is the man.
With regard to that bike. We do installs that would cost less than half of that set up that would drown it and embarrass it. There was a guy at Daytona who entered one of the comps with a Soundz system and it was easily a quarter of the volume as the top bikes. Most expensive doesn't = the best man. Now having said that, if you just drop 7k to do a bunch of upgrades to your bike don't cheap out on the radio. It's what you will enjoy most while you actually ride it.
