Need help with a couple questions
I have a 2016 CVO RGU.
Has Boom Stage 1 system. 300watt amp, 4 Stage 1 speakers getting 75 watts each.
Questions:
1. What ohm speakers are these? HD sight doesn't give much info. I think they are 2 ohm speakers. Is this right?
Or I guess the better question to ask is: What ohm does the amp out out?
2. I'm pretty sure they are 6.5" speakers. Are both fairing and Tour Pak 6.5"? Will any aftermarket 6.5" fit in their places?
3. I've been told that maybe just changing out the speakers (keeping the Boom amp as it) could give me a little more. Does anyone disagree with this?
4. I've also been told that aftermarket parts don't work to well with the Boom stuff. So would changing the speakers even work?

You can't use Boom amps with aftermarket speakers. The Boom speakers is a bi-amp set up. Meaning the amp uses crossovers and separate channels to power the boom woofer and boom tweeter. You can just hook up a speaker or a woofer and tweeter to it.
