So make sure the speakers are not connected and DMM is measuring vAC on the corresponding wires.
HP is where u will want to end up after DMM complete. Use your ears to test where u want the dial but I'm guessing 80-85 will be a good spot to start.

So where should the crossover be for the DMM? And thanks I appreciate the help. I hate asking so many questions but I like to learn and do things on my own if I can. And honestly inwouldnt know what to listen for when setting frequency haha. Is there better songs to play for doing setting frequency?

crossover set to all pass.
bass and treble set to dead center zero on HU, volume to 3/4 max
don't play that test tone through a speaker
once your target VAC is set, plug speakers back in, set crossover to HP at 80-85 and tune by ear to the music you listen to on a daily basis. that's the music to use to set frequency...songs you know and like.
