Default Worth it?

Would a set of CC6.5 speakers be a noticeable enough upgrade over Polk MM651s using a PBR300x2 amp and a Kenwood 998 HU?

I don't think so. The polks are 2.7 ohm and the PBR doesn't sound too great at 4ohm. I'd upgrade the amp first.

Gotcha....I'll get thru my family vacation and honey do list and then do it right the 3rd time! By that I mean the best fairing only amp and speaker combo, which from my untrained ear you have a handle on.
