Default Importing Directions into Boom! Audio System

I have read a couple of threads on importing .gpx files into the GPS on Boom! Audio System. I created some routes on Rever and the Harley-Davidson Ride Planner website - all with less than eight waypoints. They both create .GPX files, although Rever's files are quite a bit larger. I used an empty thumb drive and the files are in the root directory. Each time I plugged the thumb drive into the bike, turned the bike on and tried to import them it prompted me that there were no usable map files. I guess I might try a new thumb drive.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a bit surprised that no one else has had difficulties with this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I use the ride planner, export it to my thumbdrive and import it into the Boom nav. No issues.

I know the drive needs to be a FAT32 format. You could also try a different brand of drives. I've had good luck with SanDisk.

I am going to try a SanDisk. I was using a generic thumb drive, which may have not been FAT32. I remember seeing it was MS-DOS format.
