I know this is a beaten horse and the info I'm asking for is in the forum, so bare with me as I'm not all that experienced with "Audio" knowledge, I need it spelled out in layman terms.
Question #1
What can I do to upgrade the stock unit without using a new amp??
Question #2
What is the most affordable way to add lower speakers and new uppers with an amp??

Thank you for your answers in advance.
Much Peace, David
1. No upgrade without an amp.
2. Get a Soundstream PN4.1000D and 4 infinity Kappa 62.11i speakers.
You will need 6.5 speaker adapters. 8 gauge power and ground for your amp.
A 60 amp inline fuse
16 gauge speaker wire.
lower fairing 6.5 speaker pods and grills.
1 more question. Can I do all that and still use my speakers in the tour pack when it's on? Does the amp mount in the fairing? (I guess thats two questions). I appreciate the help greatly!
cpbedor thanks for the welcome. It seems the majority of the folks in the forum have a bit of "Minnesota Nice" in them. I'm new to hdforums as I just bought my first HD. Trying to learn something.

Thanks for the welcome yupperhog. Gannicus, so it looks like I'm looking at basically $550 give or take for the system you listed. If I spent up to $1000 would it make a huge difference or just save the money and go with this option? Thank you for your time. I need the help and am grateful for your guidance.
I'd say go with what Gannicus recommended because I have the same bike and have been looking at the same components. Then you can let me know how hard it is to install.
