And if I ever get anywhere near FL, I'm just going to buy Haze a beer truck!!!!

I am fairly new to posting here, but have been here for a long time...Had it not been for the great people here recommending, reviewing and giving good contact information for people to help with purchasing products on this forum. I would have been lost. I think it is pretty sad to think that if someone that sells a product cannot offer to review it here in the Audio Systems section than what are we doing?? I like many others come here for "help and guidance" and if that includes being pointed to the right "vendor" than so be it.

When I was looking for suggestions on a system for my ride, it was suggested to hit up BAL and BAB...I hit them both up and BAL was all over my questions and helped me decide. I for one do ALOT of research before buying anything and being here in the HDForum the AUDIO SYSTEMS section it feels like home, and the people here make you feel comfortable and I can rely on the fact that Alex has done his homework and will not lead anyone astray.

Please understand, I am not making any claims that Haze is not a good, helpful person. But he is a paid sponsor and therefore is restricted in what he can post and where. That is the one and only issue here. It's between him and the forum owners. I'm just the guy in between trying to sort it out. The rule is a bit vague and we will work it out.

Really though, I really like the way this is going, no one is crying or being disrespectful and it will be handled in the correct way. Thanks Izzo, for not being "THAT GUY" who is only an admin to throw weight around. If you make the Midwest meet and greet, I'd be happy to buy your first barley pop.

I see what you did there,,,,,,,,,,,,,,nice job,,,,,,, ,,,,, ,,........

I'll add my .02. This section of the forum is probably the most respectful and informative. An all around great group of guys. I'll say this, Haze has been very helpful to me in adding valuable information and has never solicited my business. This section adds a lot to the whole HDForums community.

This entire deal has just been way over the top. And unprofessional as hell.

Thank to Haze for keeping his cool and remaining extremely professional.

I'm on the late train with this thread but nevertheless I'll chime in. I know Haze about as well as anyone here with the exception of Tailwind. He doesn't make a living selling speakers and amps and could care less if he never sold a speaker here. He does it for the love of sled audio and helping others achieve their respective audio goals. Same thing I've been doing on the forum for years now. He became a sponsor to support the forum. There is no comparison between Haze and the other guy who is no longer here. As someone said earlier. All Haze is doing is giving guys tech info and product info on what works well in their sleds. I've never read a thread where he tried to sell anything to anyone. If there's a complaint out there. I've not seen it yet and I'm on the audio forum 24/7. So with that said I'm not seeing an issue. Haze, Slye, Tailwind, SBates, AAWAV and others are a HUGE asset to this forum and if I was driving the admin train I'd make some revisions to accommodate good sponsors. I would like to think common sense would prevail here. Good job mitigating the issue Izzo!!

T,

In no way shape or form was my intention to be unprofessional, I am NOT a professional in any capacity on this forum or in the audio world. I am however someone that believes firmly in standing up for others and the good of what I believe.
In my opinion, unprofessional would have been slinging mud, calling names, questioning someone to the rules and stating truths (yes, they can be backed up) is not unprofessional.

If I offended you or anyone else here then I apologize to you and them because that is not my style. You or anyone can look back through my past few hundred post and you will not see me calling names. You will how ever see where I had an issue with a vendor here and kept it completely professional even when I was receiving PM's from many of you to "lay them out" on the forum.

Relax, he's calling my actions unprofessional. As per usual, the moderator's the bad guy and can't do anything right. Not my first rodeo.

IQ,
I don't believe anyone here was unprofessional including you, you are doing the job you have been tasked with in the manor that you believe best. The members have stated their opinions and past experiences in the best way they believe.
I think this matter should remain open as long as people are not slinging mud, which is a healthy conversation.

Thanks

Not at all implying that you or any other member was acting unprofessional.

I'm gonna try and stay out of the weeds here but the accusation, comparison, insinuation that Bagger Audio Lab was acting in a manner that Team J&M John was acting back in the day was the over the top and unprofessional aspect. Just an insane, disrespectful and unprofessional act to even put that shix anywhere near that thread.

Then of course Izzo likes to yell at me in PMs, but shhhhhh, cause I ain't happy unless I'm inside his head!!!! Lol!!!!
