Default Power distribution blocks and fuses

4 awg coming off battery up to the pdb.
Are you using one fuse (and what size?) at the battery or several inline fuses off the pdb dependent on amp draw?

Use a fused distribution block.

I have it set up a little differently:
4 ga off the battery to a 100A fuse 6" off the battery into fused distribution block with 50A fuses on each line out.

With the road glide and burying the pdb, I was a little apprehensive about using fused boxes and having to replace any fuses.

oh believe the hype, my fused distribution block is BURIED on the clutch side of the radio where the CB used to sit. I'd have to disassemble a good majority of the side of the bike to replace a fuse. but it's fused!

I'm just going to use inline fuses for the amps coming off the box. Try to place them in some type of easy access area. LOL

I used distribution block and three separate inline fuse's so only have wires going to fairing and can disconnect in seconds in case of smoke

I have 4 gauge form the battery with an inline 100 amp fuse 6" from the battery to a fused distribution block in my fairing.

60 amp fuses with 8 gauge to each of my TM400's, I have a 4 position block for future expansion (was using a 50 amp for the Sony MEX-M100BT as it had it's own power supply).

I have my pdb in the cubbie on the clutch side, I have to take my fairing off but I can change fuses without taking the pods off
